Born and raised in Salmon Arm, BC, Adam attended Thompson Rivers University right out of high school, to pursue a Bachelor of Journalism degree and a career in broadcast journalism, which he had decided was his chosen career path at the age of 15. He graduated from the TRU’s journalism program in April 2022. Adam has recently joined the CKPG News team and this is Adam’s first journalism job and is looking forward to starting his career in Northern B.C. and learning more about what Prince George and the North has to offer. When not at work, Adam enjoys watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders, playing curling, exercising, traveling or spending time with family and friends.

Cheryl Jahn – Reporter  [email protected]

Cheryl Jahn earned her diploma at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1993 and has been working in the industry ever since. Ports of call have been Grand Forks, B.C. and Quesnel, B.C. before making the short trip north to Prince George. After a short stint at the Prince George Free Press, she joined the CKPG news team in January 2001.

Dave Branco – Video Journalist  @DaveBrancoNews   [email protected]

Dave Branco’s passion for the media began when he was fifteen years old as a volunteer. Completing broadcast school twenty eight years ago, he still enjoys telling peoples stories and experiences as a video journalist at CKPG. Daily, he shares these news stories with the community where he was born and raised.  Dave’s the father of two young children, a husband and a member of the Prince George Search and Rescue Team.

Tommy Osborne – Video Journalist [email protected]

Born in Chigasaki, Japan, but raised in Calgary, Tommy has always had a passion for sharing stories and engaging with the community. Previously working in Strathmore, Alberta, this is Tommy’s second stop in his media career, and he is incredibly excited to learn more about Prince George and the wonderful people that make up its community.  Outside of the office, Tommy also has a strong interest in the fine arts, as he is a classical pianist, and also enjoys art, reading, movies, and more. However, he also has a strong interest in sports, with football, basketball, and hockey often dominating the screens in his home

Greg Fry – News Director  @GFry_CKPG  [email protected]

Greg Fry was raised in South Surrey B.C. and is a graduate of BCIT’s Broadcast Journalism program and of SFU where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history (double major). During his career he’s made stops in Williams Lake, Kamloops, Victoria, Vancouver and Prince George. He even managed to squeeze in over five years in South Korea where he taught ESL and started a family. Greg worked for new media pioneers 250 News before he was hired as a digital journalist with CFJC in Kamloops. About a year later he was promoted to the news director’s role in Prince George. In his spare time, Greg likes to watch sports, read and listen to music.
